I have... almost all of the edge.

[ mingyu is hesitant, but he's slowly doing more than just nodding and shaking his head at dal. he gestured to the puzzle on the floor, the pieces he's spread out and started to organize by color, and the edges, almost complete. he's got a handful of pieces for it where the colors blend in so much he can't quite figure out where they go. ]

I think I have some edge pieces here, [ Dal offers, holding out a small number in his gloved hand. He never hands Mingyu things with his bare hand. He doesn't want to spook him by accidentally using his ability. ]

Wait, is this one an edge piece? [ He sets the others near Mingy's pile, not in it, but near it, and removes the questionably shaped piece. ] It looks like part of these leaves on the edge.

Oh, you do.

[ he takes the piece carefully, placing it with the others. there's the ones dal left near it, too, that have mingyu frowning. he's quiet a moment, then his hands move fast, clearly seeing what he wasn't before now that he has more of the pieces, and placing them together, completing the outer edge completely. ]

[ Dal watches closely as pieces snap into place like magic, eyes getting a bit wider toward the end. ]

You did it, [ he says, not exactly surprised or anything, but clearly impressed. ] That's a really good start, right? Now we can start to move inward, is that how it works?

[ it's really, really hard, to have this big thing on his shoulders with a baby so close. harder still when it's minsu and sage's baby, and neve wants to experience that, not be caught in his own head. he wants to be there for them.
