THE BIG FAT TIME TRAVEL TEXTING MEME.

How does it work?
- You post your top-level as usual.
- People reply, but the catch is, magical shenanigans intervene and poof! You're getting a text from someone you know, but it's 3 years too early or 10 years too late! What spoilers will you learn? Will you accidentally reveal some of your own?
- You can use this to explore forward-dated scenarios or have characters interact before they "met," or at least before one of them knows they met.
- When you reply, notate in the header when your character's tagging from.

[it takes him little more than the blink of an eye. he's quick.]

are you sure? i really don't mind.

[ His head's still buried in his phone as he makes his way to the living room, such that he's still replying to Minsu as he enters. ]

i'm on the way right now!

Don't worry. I'm stronger than it is.

['it', the fox, the part of him that's done terrible things. it helps him cope if he thinks of it as a separate entity. it makes minsu feel like he's winning the war that rages inside of him. it, a part of him that's dormant, but never gone.]

[squelch]

[ Ten looks up from his phone at lightspeed when he hears Minsu's voice, beaming happily. ]

Hi! You're here! [ He'll just skip on over now, clad in a truly huge hoodie that hides most of his tastier parts. ]

Of course you're strong. You're one of the strongest people I know, [ he says, matter-of-fact. ] I'm not sure I helped, but if I did? I'm glad.

[foxtrots]

You did, trust me.

[when minsu started realizing that he wanted friends, a big part of it was because he wanted to be ten's friend. but in order to do that, he knew he had to change his ways.

he eyes the hoodie for a moment, and then with a little smile, pulls the hood up and dips in for a kiss to ten's cheek.]

Ready to go see what the bird's nest smell is?

I do trust you, [ Ten says, that same matter-of-fact quality in his voice again. It's not in question. Minsu is someone he trusts.

That's just how it is.

He beams and giggles a little when kissed. It is a fact that Ten loves kisses. And hugs and all manner of affection. He takes Minsu's hand, squeezing it. ]

Let's go! I'm so curious now. Wonder what we're going to find, huh? [ One can practically see the gears turning in his head as he imagines the possibilities. ]
