How does it work?
- You post your top-level as usual.
- People reply, but the catch is, magical shenanigans intervene and poof! You're getting a text from someone you know, but it's 3 years too early or 10 years too late! What spoilers will you learn? Will you accidentally reveal some of your own?
- You can use this to explore forward-dated scenarios or have characters interact before they "met," or at least before one of them knows they met.
- When you reply, notate in the header when your character's tagging from.

i've been making hats and booties and all kinds of things, as quickly as i could.

i dont think we're from the same point in time right now. which is weird but also... swamp.

uh, Dash, when im from Jiyun is born, and she has a little brother, Sejun. and you and Neve have Minsu and Nashling number two on the way.

[ here, let him show you a picture of a grinning little girl with a missing front tooth, and a little boy who looks very much like you and Neve holding a screaming baby.]

that's really weird. and amazing, but still strange. i'm sorry i said things that were confusing...

so neve and i named our baby minsu? i guess that sort of explains why i got a little mixed up! jiyun is a really pretty name, too.

[ There's a little pause here. ]

wow, they're all so adorable! cute. we've got our hands full, huh?

the swamp can be a bit tricky once in a while. but also-- pretty sure it is fond of us.

and yeah you did, after you and my Min. pretty sure he cried for like two weeks when you told him. and spoils the hell out of little Min whenever he can.

Ji too. she adores him, so much.

we do. and when your second gets here it's gonna be even more full. but full of love, you know? never thought this is where would end up all those years ago when we gathered in the swamp, you know?

for the most part? are you worried?

i can see minsu reacting like that. he has a good heart. i'm glad if that made him happy. and i'm glad if he spoils our son, since i'm sure they both deserve it.

i can't wait to meet her. it won't be very long now! were you excited then?

i didn't know we'd end up where we are now, much less with children of our own. i was so used to moving around, always looking for a safe place to stay, i didn't really think about actually finding one. and then we did.

not at all. Ji has-- well she has a very deep bond with the swamp, i think she would tell us if the swamp wasn't fond of us.

and waiting for her, fuck, i was terrified. so terrified. its not something i was ever prepared for, you know? but-- worth it. completely.

i think that we were all kind of not expecting what we got here. and it wasnt really the easiest thing in the world either for us to settle, and then heal before we all started to grow.

but we did it.

you and Neve did it.

it's a really fucking amazing future, Dash.

that's amazing. i really can't wait to see it for myself. i'm guessing i should find a way to make sure i forget we talked though, huh? it seems like the right thing to do.

you always seem so calm, sage. i mean, the only time i ever saw you seem nervous was that first moment when we all found out. i'm sorry again about that, too. i didn't mean to shock you.

do you think it's true that it's better if things aren't easy? that we appreciate them more that way? i think that always comforted me a little. it made some things bearable. some losses.

i can't believe neve and i... i mean, i haven't even really thought about it. i'm guessing i will once your daughter is here.
